Here are some tips for creating a strong freelancer profile on Giggity.co.
- Settle on a target keyword phrase. For this you might add your skill plus your niche. Example: “petcare brand manager”.
- Focus on ONE phrase per page.
- Repeat that phrase in all the right places that will help you get found by people who search for that same phrase on search engines.
Just remember, we’re doing a word match with our profile content. Make the title and lead-in as gripping as you like. Tap, tease, coax, cajole, massage and mesmerize in your copy… do whatever it takes to turn attention your way. But also keep in mind that the key phrases MUST go in there.
Slip your keyword phrase into the following spots:
- The page title
- The first paragraph
- Other places on the page that will help you rank for your chosen key phrase, so you can get found and possibly hired
Channel your inner copywriter
You should also create a good, meaty post that shares high value information. For your freelance profile, inform readers of the following:
- Your specialty area
- Your niche focus, if you have one
- The type of work you do
- Tasks you handle
- Benefits of working with you
- Testimonials from happy clients (why not!?)
- An image that shows a work sample of yours
